This Blog is so that people can stay up to date with what's happening at SunriseShells. SunriseShells was developed to help better understand the rare endemic scallop of Hawaii. Our mission is that through research, we can gain more information about sunrise shells and help protect them from being over dived. Scuba divers have been taking live specimens for their own greed and in order for this species to thrive that has to stop first.
